Who We Are

We are fun-loving, mostly-southern gay men who make the rounds to various cities and/or gay events.  We know our music and like our deejays.  It's our goal to make any event a fun one for ourselves and others.

We have been featured at Orlando Gay Days and our music mixes are known throughout the southeast.  Along the way, we have made new friends and welcomed many "honorary southerners" into our fold  -- yes, even ones from above the Mason-Dixon and from the left coast.

And while we know a good time when we have one, we also have organized events for, and contributed to, various GLBT charities.  Even though we are a predominantly gay group, we welcome anyone who enjoys fun and who respects and supports us for who we are.

As we have grown, we decided to create a presence on the internet in order to provide information about upcoming activities.  Please feel free to enjoy our webpage and to contact us at webmaster@southernboys.org.

While you do not have to be a member to enjoy the Gallery or Web Forum, we'd ask you to consider registering to enjoy the benefits listed in the "How to Sign Up" Page.  We will never sell or provide our mailing list to anyone or any organization.

NEW MIX

Check out the Southern Boys' latest mix "Mamma Knows" on the Tunes page.

Yes, there is a bit of a retro blast going on with "Mamma Knows." Tiffany?   "Bad Habit" sounding better than ever?  And David Cassidy?  Hello world here's a song that we're singing and it's been given the Ralphi Rosario treatment.  Plus there is some Praise the Lord time in Altar's Anthem "Maybe God Is Tryin' To Tell You Somethin' " featuring Jeanie Tracy and Pepper Mashay with Soul Sista Shakti.  "Mamma Knows" features Black Kids, Darude, Estelle, Tiffany, Suzanne Palmer, Erin Stevenson, ATFC feat. Lisa Millet, Pepper Mashay, Solange Knowles, DJ Gomi, David Cassidy, Soul Sista Shakti, Jeanie Tracy and Charlotte McKinnon.

As always, our mixes are not for sale and designed only to promote the artists.  More information about that is on our "Tunes" page.
