Who We Are

We are fun-loving, mostly-southern gay men who make the rounds to various cities and/or gay events.  We know our music and like our deejays.  It's our goal to make any event a fun one for ourselves and others.

We have been featured at Orlando Gay Days and our music mixes are known throughout the southeast.  Along the way, we have made new friends and welcomed many "honorary southerners" into our fold  -- yes, even ones from above the Mason-Dixon and from the left coast.

And while we know a good time when we have one, we also have organized events for, and contributed to, various GLBT charities.  Even though we are a predominantly gay group, we welcome anyone who enjoys fun and who respects and supports us for who we are.

As we have grown, we decided to create a presence on the internet in order to provide information about upcoming activities.  Please feel free to enjoy our webpage and to contact us at webmaster@southernboys.org.

While you do not have to be a member to enjoy the Gallery or Web Forum, we'd ask you to consider registering to enjoy the benefits listed in the "How to Sign Up" Page.  We will never sell or provide our mailing list to anyone or any organization.

NEW MIX

Happy 2009!  We're ringing in the new year at Southern Boys with a new mix.  Check out the Southern Boys' mix "Human" on the Tunes page.

Sixteen of your new favorites are featured on "Human."  Songs by The Killers, Amy Studt, Sonny J, Jason Phats, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Britney Spears, Ida Corr. Cahill, Star Pilots, Pink, Noveau Riche, Nicki Richards, Miley Cyrus, The Ting Tings and Robin Thicke feat, Mary J. Blige are all here.  Yes, that's right...Hannah Montana herself in one of our mixes along with the latest Madonna, Pink and Britney.

It's also that time of year again.  Check out the Southern Boys' mix "The Best of 2008" on the Tunes page.

Twenty-seven of your favorites are crammed onto this year-end review of the music that filled the dancefloor.  "The Best of" features Tamia, Suzanne Palmer, Natasha Bedingfield, Idina Menzel, Rihanna, Erin Hamilton, Brittney Spears, Fremasons, Jody Watley, Mary J Blige, Marco DeMark, Alicia Keyes, Uniting Nations, Mariah Carey, Fragma, Kimberly Locke, Rosabel, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Pussycat Dolls, Janet Jackson, Judy Cheeks, Craig David, Debby Holiday, Pepper Mashay and Brandy.

As always, our mixes are not for sale and designed only to promote the artists.  More information about that is on our "Tunes" page.
